Legado de Arquitectura y Diseño es una publicación de investigación científica con el objetivo de difundir estudios, trabajos teóricos y empíricos e investigaciones sobre el campo de la arquitectura y el diseño del espacio habitable. La revista está dirigida a investigadores, catedráticos y estudiantes.

Legado de Arquitectura y Diseño is a scientific research publication with the aim of disseminating studies, theoretical and empirical works and research on the field of architecture and the design of living space. The journal is aimed at researchers, professors and students.

  

Política de acceso abierto

Legado de Arquitectura y Diseño es una revista de acceso abierto, lo que significa que todo su contenido está disponible gratuitamente para los usuarios o su institución. Se permite a los usuarios leer, descargar, copiar, distribuir, imprimir, buscar o enlazar los textos completos de los artículos, así como utilizarlos para cualquier otro fin lícito, sin necesidad de solicitar permiso previo al editor o al autor.

Declaración ética sobre publicación y malas prácticas editoriales

La revista Legado de Arquitectura y Diseño está comprometida con la comunidad científica para garantizar la ética y calidad de los artículos publicados. Nuestra revista tiene como referencia el Código de Conducta y Buenas Prácticas que define el Comité de Ética en Publicaciones (COPE) para editores de revistas científicas (https://publicationethics.org/). Así nuestra revista garantiza la adecuada respuesta a las necesidades de los lectores y autores, asegurando la calidad de lo publicado, protegiendo y respetando el contenido de los artículos y la integridad de los mismos.

Legado de Arquitectura y Diseño es una publicación financiada con recursos públicos y se apega a la filosofía de acceso abierto, por lo tanto, el editor se compromete a actuar en todo momento con apego a los criterios editoriales y a la línea editorial. Las conductas de plagio no son admitidas, en este sentido, se evalúan los artículos con un software especializado. Todo caso detectado implicará el rechazo del artículo, mismo que se le notificará a los autores del artículo. El editor deberá cuidar la imparcialidad tanto en la recepción de los artículos como en el fallo de la evaluación. La revisión académica de los artículos se rige por el sistema de pares ciegos, por lo que la revista se compromete a cuidar el anonimato de autores y revisores. El director editorial garantiza que dará a conocer el resultado del proceso de dictamen exclusivamente a los autores. El equipo editorial está en disposición de aclarar dudas a autores y revisores en el proceso de dictaminación y edición. En los casos que se requiera, la revista hará públicas las aclaraciones y correcciones correspondientes y necesarias.

En el caso de los autores deberán garantizar el estricto apego y aceptación a los criterios editoriales establecidos por Legado de Arquitectura y Diseño, garantizar que los artículos son producto de su trabajo original como investigadores y que los datos presentados han sido obtenidos de manera ética, por lo que deben enviar la carta de originalidad y garantizar que no infringen los derechos de autor. El artículo no podrá ser sometido total o parcialmente a otra publicación. Los autores no podrán postular publicaciones redundantes, entendiéndose por ello cuando dos o más documentos comparten los mismos datos, hipótesis, puntos de discusión o conclusiones. Aquellos trabajos en coautoría deberán contar con una justificación que exprese el consenso pleno del apego a los lineamientos de todos los autores involucrados. Es obligación de los autores respetar la autoría de todas las fuentes que han sido utilizadas en la elaboración de su artículo; por eso debe proporcionar los datos exactos de las referencias bibliográficas, hemerográficas, electrónicas y otras técnicas de recolección de datos. Asimismo, se compromete a no omitir ningún material significativo. Atender las observaciones de los dictámenes editorial y académico de manera puntual y clara. Incurrir en cualquier falta a los anteriores puntos constituye una conducta no ética e inaceptable; en consecuencia, el artículo propuesto será eliminado y no considerado para su publicación.

Por otro lado, los dictaminadores deben comprometerse a mantener la confidencialidad de la información relacionada con los artículos que evalúan, por lo que no pueden hacer ningún tipo de difusión ni distribución de la información presentada en el artículo que evalúan hasta el momento en que sea publicado por la revista. Se comprometen a realizar el dictamen de manera objetiva, imparcial, responsable y rigurosa. Demostrar disposición para aclarar dudas y todos los asuntos relacionados con el cumplimiento en cada una de las etapas que comprende el proceso de dictamen. Al incurrir en cualquier falta a los anteriores puntos, la revista se reserva el derecho de entregar constancia de su pertenencia a la cartera de árbitros.

Legado de Arquitectura y Diseño journal is committed to the scientific community to guarantee the ethics and quality of the published articles. Our journal has as a reference the Code of Conduct and Good Practices defined by the Publication Ethics Committee (COPE) for editors of scientific journals (https://publicationethics.org/). Thus, our journal guarantees the adequate response to the needs of readers and authors, ensuring the quality of what is published, protecting and respecting the content of the articles and their integrity.

Legado de Arquitectura y Diseño is a publication financed with public resources and adheres to the philosophy of open access, therefore, the editor undertakes to act at all times in accordance with the editorial criteria and the editorial line. Plagiarism behaviors are not admitted, in this sense, articles are evaluated with specialized software. Any case detected will imply the rejection of the article, which will be notified to the authors of the article. The editor must take care of impartiality both in the reception of the articles and in the evaluation decision. The academic review of articles is governed by the blind peer system, for which the journal is committed to protecting the anonymity of authors and reviewers. The editorial director guarantees that the result of the opinion process will be made known exclusively to the authors. The editorial team is available to clarify doubts to authors and reviewers in the review and editing process. In the cases that are required, the magazine will publish the corresponding and necessary clarifications and corrections.

In the case of the authors, they must guarantee strict adherence to and acceptance of the editorial criteria established by Legado de Arquitectura y Diseño, guarantee that the articles are the product of their original work as researchers and that the data presented has been obtained ethically, by what they must send the letter of originality and guarantee that they do not infringe copyright. The article may not be totally or partially submitted to another publication. Authors may not apply for redundant publications, meaning when two or more documents share the same data, hypotheses, points of discussion or conclusions. Those works in co-authorship must have a justification that expresses the full consensus of adherence to the guidelines of all the authors involved. It is the obligation of the authors to respect the authorship of all the sources that have been used in the preparation of their article; for this reason, you must provide the exact data of the bibliographic, hemerographic, electronic references and other data collection techniques. Not to omit any significant material. Address the observations of the editorial and academic opinions in a timely and clear manner. Incurring in any breach of the above points constitutes unethical and unacceptable conduct; consequently, the proposed article will be eliminated and not considered for publication.

On the other hand, the reviewers must commit to maintaining the confidentiality of the information related to the articles they evaluate, so they cannot make any type of dissemination or distribution of the information presented in the article they evaluate until the moment it is published for the journal. They undertake to make the opinion in an objective, impartial, responsible and rigorous manner. Demonstrate willingness to clarify doubts and all matters related to compliance in each of the stages that comprise the opinion process. Upon incurring in any offense to the above points, the journal reserves the right to provide proof of their membership in the portfolio of referees.
